General Race Rules
The Marathon will still start even when it rains or it's wet (Rainwheels are allowed)
Everybody keeps to the inner left and you overtake on the right (outside corner)
1 hour to finish 10km - 2h15 to finish 21/42km
The mathematics : 1 lap is = 1,65 km =>
10k requires 6 laps + start 10k
21k requires 12 laps + Start 21k
42k requires 25 laps + Start 42K

"Tar" is not in the way - possibility at 40°C an issue
just every 100m a sewer drain but they are nice flat with road
The Race Schedule:
Between 11H00 - 13h00 there will be a BK 100m for Belgian Competition riders on a 100m strip in front of the finish line. In the meanwhile others can arrive... do warm up
At 13h00 we will start on the "10K" startline for everybody listed in the following starting order :
Competition 11-14years (Scholars/Cadets)
followed by Recreational skaters (11-99 years)
followed by the 7-11 year old that stay behind a "tempo" rider untill the last lap/corner
At 14h00 Ceremony for the 10k
At 14h15 we start with 21k and 42k on the 2 other starting locations - start shot at the same time... but participants will have to pass 13 & 26 times the finish line
21k will have recreational skaters -18 and +18years
42k will have in the following starting order:
Competition Youth/Seniors + Liefhebbers
Recreational 15-99 years
At 16h30 Ceremony for the 21k / 42k

SUBSCRIBE FOR THE RECREATIONAL MARATHONS
Competition (any nationality) riders will subscribe via their Belgian Clubs for which they ride the BK
Open recreative Roller Marathon
This subscription form is for participants of the open recreative marathon of Roeselare on 26th of May.
Subscription of competition skaters of Belgian Clubs for BK Long Distance and 100m will get a seperate subscription form
the first 100 skaters will pay 10 euro (if they are member of a Skate Flanders affiliate Skate Club
or 15 euro (if they are not)
For the +100th skater prices will go up to 15 euro and 20 euro.
You can subscribe untill 23 may.
